Introduction to Counselling and Psychotherapy – 5 Days
Comprehensive overview covering major therapeutic modalities, ethical frameworks, and foundational skills. Experiential learning and supervised practice develop understanding of the therapeutic relationship, basic assessment capabilities, and self-awareness as practitioners. The programme prepares participants for professional training pathways and meets BACP and UKCP standards.
CBT Intensive Skills Development – 5 days
Intermediate programme developing practical competency for practitioners with foundational CBT knowledge. Focus areas include behavioural activation, exposure hierarchies, and thought records. Counselling Skills – 3 days
This practical skills course develops core counselling competencies including active listening, empathy, reflection, and questioning techniques. Participants engage with current research, practise case formulation, and plan phase-based treatment. Addresses complex PTSD as distinct from PTSD requiring specialised knowledge.
Depression: Assessment and Treatment Pathways – 1 day
